Overview
ALS Tape supplies polyimide (Kapton) film tape for electronics, electrical insulation, and high-temperature process masking. The combination of a premium polyimide film backing with high-performance silicone or acrylic adhesive delivers outstanding dimensional stability, superior dielectric strength, and clean residue-free removal after exposure to extreme heat. Four construction directions cover the main application needs: Silicone Polyimide Tape (the industry standard for high-temperature masking through wave soldering and powder coating), Acrylic Polyimide Tape (excellent initial tack and solvent resistance for permanent and semi-permanent insulation), Anti-Static ESD Polyimide Tape (specially treated to eliminate electrostatic discharge during unwinding and removal near sensitive PCBs), and Custom Polyimide Die-Cuts including precision-cut masking dots and component-matched shapes on release liners.
