Who we are

Information you send us

When you submit an inquiry, we receive what you enter: your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), product interest, estimated quantity, requirements, and any drawing or file you attach.

• We use it to reply to your inquiry, prepare quotes and samples, and follow up on the project you asked about.
• The inquiry is delivered to our team by email, and a confirmation is sent to the address you entered.
• We also keep a record of each inquiry (contact details, product interest, quantity, how you reached the site, your IP address and country) so we can track and answer it. The message text and attachments stay in our mailbox.

Information recorded when you use the site

To understand which pages help buyers and where the site falls short, we record how the site is used:

• Our own measurement: a random visitor ID and visit ID stored in your browser, the page you arrived on and where you came from (referring site, campaign tags, ad click IDs), pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, button clicks, and how far a form was filled in (which fields were completed and their length, not what you typed until you submit). Your IP address and country are recorded with the visit. Detailed events are deleted after 180 days; visit summaries are kept.
• Google Analytics: page views and visit statistics.
• Microsoft Clarity: page interactions such as clicks and scrolling, used to see where a page is confusing.
• Google Ads: whether a visit from one of our ads leads to an inquiry, so we can judge which ads are worth running.

Cookies and browser storage

Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Ads set cookies. Our own measurement uses your browser's local storage. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the site and the inquiry form still work without them.

Who else handles the information

We do not sell your information or share it for other companies' marketing. It is handled only by service providers that run parts of the site for us:

• Cloudflare — network delivery, security, and email routing.
• Resend — delivery of inquiry and confirmation emails.
• Google (Analytics, Ads) and Microsoft (Clarity) — as described above.
• Our hosting provider — the servers that run the site and store the records above.

Where it is processed

We operate from China, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. We only share what each provider needs for its service.

How long we keep it

Inquiry records are kept while they are useful for the business relationship, or until you ask us to delete them. Site usage data is kept as described above.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it, by emailing info@alstape.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on and adjust ad personalization in your Google account settings.

Children

This site is for business buyers and is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
