Overview
ALS Tape supplies Rogers BISCO silicone foam for gasketing, sealing, cushioning, and thermal insulation in transportation, communication, and industrial applications. BISCO silicone foam offers exceptional compression set resistance and reliable shock and vibration protection across a wide temperature range, outperforming standard polyurethane foam in sustained high-temperature environments. Three form factors — cellular foam, solid silicone, and specialty silicone sealing foam — cover the range from compressible sealing applications to rigid thermal and electrical insulation. ALS converts BISCO roll stock into fabricated components including gaskets, heat shields, dust seals, cushions, and insulation pads. Alternative grades (AG-231 closed-cell and AG-311 open-cell) are available for designs where direct BISCO equivalence is required — both carry UL-94 V-0 HF1 rating with smooth surface texture and excellent compression set resistance.
