Overview
ALS Tape supplies 3M vinyl electrical tape across the full Scotch and Temflex range, from light-duty economical grades through premium all-weather constructions for demanding outdoor and industrial applications. The range spans Scotch Super 33+ and Super 88 (premium, rated 0–220°F), Scotch 33 (general-purpose, 32–176°F), Scotch 35 (color-coding, 9 fade-resistant colors), Scotch 22 (the thickest standard vinyl at 10 mil), and Temflex 1700 and 1776 (economical general-purpose). All grades use PVC backing with rubber resin adhesive for flame retardancy, conformability, and reliable dielectric protection. Premium grades carry UL Listed and CSA Certified Insulating Tape qualifications. Selected series meet ASTM D3005, D1000, and D2301 specifications and VDE 0340.

Premium Grades (Super 33+ / Super 88) — Rated 0 to 220°F (–18 to 105°C). Elastic PVC backing plus aggressive adhesive deliver moisture-tight insulation and mechanical protection in all-weather outdoor environments.
Color-Coding Tape (Scotch 35) — 7-mil PVC in nine fade-resistant colors: Blue, Brown, Gray, Green, Orange, Red, Violet, White, Yellow. Rated 32–220°F (0–105°C) for phase marking, motor lead identification, and safety area delineation.
Thickest Standard Grade (Scotch 22 at 10 mil) — Delivers superior mechanical protection per wrap for abrasion-critical applications without added bulk when fewer wraps are required.
General-Purpose (Scotch 33) — Flame-retardant, conformable PVC with high dielectric strength. The everyday workhorse for low-voltage insulation, harness wrap, and general electrical protection.
Economical Grades (Temflex 1700 / 1776) — Cost-effective UL Listed general-purpose insulating tape for maintenance, repair, and lower-volume electrical assembly.
Broad Specification Coverage — ASTM D3005 (33+, 88), D1000 (33), D2301 (22, 1700), VDE 0340 TEIL 3-1, Mil-I-24391C (88).
